welcoming spaces
PianoD also collaborates with architects and interior designers in the selection and supply offurnishings for hospitality spaces where aesthetics and function are naturally balanced. Woven-caneseating, occasional tables, and upholstered armchairs create an informal atmosphere. Envelopingforms inspired by design from the 50’s and 60’s invite conviviality in a venue on the Tuscan coast. In ahotel lobby, a monumental glass chandelier becomes the luminous center of the architecture. Thetransparent glass tiles with their golden reflections recall the Murano glass tradition of the 1960’s and1970’s that create a cascade of light. Each project starts with the encounter between culture, architecture and design.
